How does Squiggle Squad work?

Squiggle Squad is a fun, motor skill based approach to handwriting instruction for improved literacy and learning.

This incremental, developmentally appropriate instruction builds the foundation for writing fluency and helps struggling students get on the right track.

5 animal friends come alongside your student to help them practice the strokes needed to form letters and numbers with ease. Once students learn the five strokes—having practiced motor control and directionality—their Squiggle Squad friends come together and “play” to form/teach letters and numbers!

Teacher Testimonial

“I have seen incredible improvement in all of my student’s writing skills, and I see it beginning to become natural for them to write with the correct pencil grip and formation techniques. I highly recommend this amazing program!” —Mrs. Woodbury, Kindergarten Teacher
